As a professional or practitioner in the field of automation, you can share your expertise and help advance the technology and application of automation. It’s part of your professional responsibility, and it’s ISA’s mission to the profession. So, use the method that works best for you to give back to your profession.

Send leads, links, information, interesting articles you have seen to info@isaeurope.org - company news, new or different products, contract awards or requests for bids, announcements, articles, courses, conferences, books, exhibits, interesting posts to public email lists, and so on – Just send the information and our editorial team will resolve any permissions for use and how to best format for presentation on the ISA website.

Write a Paper

Add to your legacy as an automation professional by authoring a paper.

• Write an article for InTech by contacting Greg Hale.
• Author a paper for the "peer reviewed" ISA Transactions
• Present and publish your findings during one of ISA's Technical Conferences by contacting Matricia Smith or at one of ISA's Technical Division Symposia by contacting Rodney Jones.

Write or Review a Book

You can make a significant contribution to the body of automation knowledge by sharing your years of experience as a book author. Or, if you’re not ready for that challenge (and reward), then you can always contribute as a technical reviewer. Contact Susan Colwell for more details.

Develop or Present a Training Course

Share your knowledge and experience with others that are seeking education about automation technologies or training about applications. You can develop or contribute to ISA courses, or if you’re an excellent communicator, you can present your own or one of ISA’s existing courses. Contact Dalton Wilson for more details.

Participate in ISA Standards and Practices (S&P) Development

As an S&P participant, you can provide ideas for new and revised standards, review draft standards, contribute S&P articles to ISA, serve on a standards committee, chair a Standards committee, or become a District, Section or Division S&P Chairman. The primary requirement is knowledge of the area covered and a willingness to contribute your time and expertise to the development of ISA standards, practices and technical reports. Contribute to an ISA Technical Community

• You can be a leader, and practice and grow your leadership and interpersonal skills by taking an active role in one of ISA’s Technical Divisions - help set the direction for production and dissemination of technical information. Contact Rodney Jones to explore this opportunity.
